NaruHina - Here for You

   “You can go home already. I’ll report to Tsunade baa-chan.”
   “Ok Naruto. See you around.” The pink-haired kunoichi waved while heading home.
Sai left in silence. “Still a bit weird..” Naruto thought.
The 17 year-old shinobi ran towards the Hokage-tower when he saw someone on the trainings ground he passed. The person was lying on the ground.
   “Hey, are you all right?” he asked in it’s direction.
After waiting a while without respons, he walked into the trainings ground. When there, he saw it was a girl with dark, navy hair.
He immediately ran to her. “Hinata?!”
The young woman was unconscious and didn’t respond to any of his words. The blonde ninja could see she had’ve been training very intensive. He raised her into his arms and ran to the hospital as fast as he could.

Naruto was waiting ouside the hospital room where the Hokage was nursing Hinata, when suddenly the door opened.
   “How is she?”
   “She’s fine, but she did use too much of her chakra today. She’ll have to rest for a while to strengthen.” Tsunade replied calmly.
   “M-may I go to her?” Naruto asked.
   “Yes, but she’s asleep right now, so don’t wake her. She really needs the rest.”
Naruto walked inside the room and sat in the chair next to Hinata’s bed. He got carried away by his thoughts.
   “Why was she training to extremly hard? She knows well enough when she’s running low on her chakra.”
The door opened and another Hyuuga came in. Neji nodded when he saw Naruto.
   “Is she ok?” he asked concerned.
   “Yes, but she’ll have to rest. Do you know why she was training that harsh?”
   “I geuss so.. but it’s not to me to tell you that. It’s.. something between her and her father.”
The younger boy sighted. “Oh.. ok .”
   “Did you found her?”
   “Yes, at a trainings ground.”
They both didn’t know anything to say, so they kept silence in the small room. Neji had to leave after some time and Naruto stayed with Hinata. He rested his head on the side of Hinata’s bed. He was really tired from that last mission and fell asleep in only 5 minutes, holding Hinata’s hand.
   “Huh? W-Where am I? What happened?”
Hinata thought back for a while when she suddenly realized she must’ve lost consciousness during her training. The door opened but the kunoichi didn’t noticed it, lost in thoughts.
   “Hinata? You’re finally awake.” a voice made her coming back to the fact she was still in a hospital bed.
   “N-Naruto-kun? W-What are you d-doing here?” she stuttered.
   “I had to be sure you would be alright. You didn’t look to good back on the trainings ground.” He grinned.
   “Y-You brought me here?”
   “Yeah, I was just back from my mission when I saw you lying there. Unconscious.”
   “A-Arigato, N-Naruto-kun.” The shy girl blushed.
The blonde shinobi smiled. He kinda missed that blush. “Hey err.. why the harsh training? It was really dangerous to use so much chakra.”
Hinata sighted. “I-I don’t really w-want to talk about th-that.. Gomen nasai..”
   “It’s all right.” He smiled. “But if you change your mind, you can always talk to me, ok?”
   “A-Arigato.”
Naruto was just about to say something when Tsunade opened the door.
   “I thought I heard some talking in here. How are you feeling, Hinata?”
   “I-I feel well.”
   “Could you try to stand up for a while?”
The girl stood up from the bed, but lost her balance. Naruto immediately reacted to support her. He helped her back on the bed carefully.
   “Ok. You’ll have to stay here for a few days, Hinata.” Tsunade decided. She looked at Naruto for a second and smiled. “But I don’t think you’re going to feel lonely in here.”
Hinata looked at the boy standing in front her and blushed.
   “N-Naruto-kun?” she asked while sitting back on the bed completely.
   “Yeah?”
   “I-I’d like to t-talk to you, b-but not in h-here..” the shy girl said quietly.
The blonde shinobi smiled. “That’s fine with me. Like I said before, you may always come to me to talk.”

Days passed by and Hinata finally got fired from hospital. Naruto stayed with her that whole time. The young Hyuuga heiress definitely enjoyed the constant company of her crush. Said boy was guiding her to her house right now.
   “Hey, would you like to eat some ramen first? It’s not far from here,” he asked her. “and I’m kinda hungry.”
The girl smiled. “S-Sounds great.”
They sat down and ordered something by Ayame. When their food arrived, Naruto couldn’t wait to eat. He immediately reached for his chopsticks but when he was about to start, he saw Hinata was distracted by something.
   “Is anything wrong, Hinata?” he asked concerned.
The girl directly got pulled away from her thoughts. “N-No, n-nothing..” She also got her chopsticks and started to eat without any more explanation. Naruto sighted. She looked happy back in the hospital, at least, seen her condition. But ever since they exited the room, she was back to her silence self again. They both finished their ramen and left after paying everything.
When they arrived at the Hyuuga estate, Hinata just thanked him for keeping her company and walked inside. He didn’t blame her for that. The boy saw there was something wrong to her. If only she told him..
   “What happened?” he thought all the way back home.

Naruto went to the Hyuuga estate almost everyday, one week long, but never got to see Hinata. The only thing they told him was that she had to train. Not even when she would be free for a moment.
Naruto came home after another useless try to see the Hyuuga girl, when he heard someone knocking on the door. When he opened it, he saw Neji standing in the hallway. He must’ve ran trough the whole town, seeing how exhausted he was.
   “Is Hinata-sama here?” the genius asked immidiately.
   “No, I haven’t seen her in days. Why do you ask?” Naruto replied, slightly getting nervous. Did something happen to Hinata?
   “She was in her room to rest, but now we can’t find her anywhere. I thought she would be here.”
   “Well.. I shall give you a sign when I see her.”
   “Thanks, Naruto.” Neji said as he walked back outside.
Naruto sighted. There must’ve been a good reason why Hinata ran away. She would never make her family worry like that. “I have to go look for her.”
His door opened as he said these words aloud.
   “Hinata! W-What are you doing here? Everyone’s lo-” the boy got cut off when the suddenly so small girl clang her arms around him.
   “Hey, Hina.. it’s ok, come.” He led her to the couch, where he sat down next to her. His arm holding her thightly.
For some minutes, she only cried against his shoulder. Naruto didn’t try to talk to her. He knew she needed this right now.
   “G-Gomen, I-I didn’t ment to.. gomen..” she said quietly.
   “Don’t feel sorry. I’m here for you.” He smiled.
   “I-It’s just.. M-My father..” the kunoichi sobbed.
She waited for a moment, trying to control her tears “H-He want’s me to-to get stronger, b-because I’m th-the heiress, s-so I was t-training all day. A-And after I came b-back out of hospital, I-I had to train e-even harder. And h-he’s watching over me a-all the time! I can’t stand it anymore!”
She bursted out in tears again. Naruto didn’t knew her father was putting so much presure on his daughter.
   “Hey. It’s already getting late. You may sleep here. I’ve got an extra matress. I can even put it in my room.”
   “B-But if I stay away a-all night, i-it will only g-get worse..”
Naruto sighted. “But think about what your father would say if you come back with your face full of tears.”
   “A-Are you sure I-I can stay?” she asked, looking up into his blue eyes.
   “Of course. I can’t just send you back in this state.” He smiled at her softly.
   “A-Arigato, Naruto-kun.” Hinata said, while pressing her head to his shoulder again.

   “You can sleep in my bed if you want. I’ll take the matress.”
   “N-No. I don’t w-want to be a b-burden to you.”
Naruto lifted her chin with his right hand and kissed her on the forehead. Hinata looked up and smiled. “You could never be burden to me.” the boy continued.

   “Where am I?” was the first thing Hinata thought when she woke up. She realized it when the smell of fresh boiled ramen reached her nose. She stood up and walked slowly towards the door. When she opened it, she saw Naruto sitting at the table, eating his ramen.
   “Ah, Hinata. Sorry I didn’t wait for you, but I was starving.” He looked apologizing. “And I’m also sorry I can’t make you something better. My refrigirator is kinda.. empty.”
The kunoichi giggled. “S-Some ramen sounds nice.”
Naruto brought her some, but waited till they both finished before he started talking.
   “I geuss you have to go back today, don’t you..”
   “Yes.. “
There fell an uncomfortable silence in the small apartment. Hinata could only think about what her father would say and do. She’d have to train even more and someone would watch over her all the time. She hated herself for running away.
   “I’m coming with you.” The boy in front of her suddenly said.
   “W-What do you mean?” Hinata asked confused.
   “I’m not going to let you go by yourself. I’ll come with you to your father.”
   “B-But, Naruto-kun..”
   “And there’s no point in stopping me.” He cut her off.
Hinata sighted. “I-If you’re really sure a-about it..”
   “But first, you’re going to refresh your face from yesterday. I’ll show you the bathroom.”
Hinata followed him and did as said. Afterwards, they both got ready to leave. The two shinobi walked trough Konoha in silence.

When they reached the Hyuuga estate, Hinata turned her face towards Naruto.
   “Y-You can still go back.”
   “No Hinata, stop trying to make me change my mind.” Naruto smiled. “C’mon, I have a feeling they have already spotted us.”
And Naruto got his right. Some Hyuuga members came outside, telling Hinata her father’s waiting for her. They all walked back inside and Hinata got straight to her dad. The blonde ninja followed her until a main branch member stopped him from going inside Hinata’s father room.
   “I-It’s ok, Naruto-kun. I-I have to do this by myself.”
Naruto sighted. “Ok.. But know that I’m here for you.”
Hinata smiled for a second. “I know..” she walked towards him and took his hands in hers. Everything happened so fast after that. Naruto could only tell she reached up and kissed him, before walking back. She was now behind closed doors.
